France's Loire Valley is its most diverse in terms of the wine styles that are produced. From sweet and sparkling wines made of Chenin Blanc to still and dry wines of Cabernet Franc, the Loire Valley produces a wine for every imaginable type of drinker.
In this class, you will taste and analyze three wines made from indigenous grape varieties of the Loire Valley. We will discuss the effects of climate, soil and vinification to understand what makes each wine so unique while at the same time, becoming better tasters!
As usual with Drink Democracy LLC classes, this course will be highly instructional and hands-on and students are expected to come prepared to learn and with questions. Our courses are geared towards the more serious wine drinker or those that wish to become one.
* The ticket price will include three pours of different styles of white and red wines, light snacks and a souvenir tasting glass. Students should already be familiar with the deductive tasting method as we will spend very little time reviewing it
